What is Luquillo Beach like?

More than a mile long and shaded with coconut trees, Luquillo Beach is a beautiful place to sunbathe and enjoy the ocean. The beach is framed by the verdant El Yunque National Rainforest and lined with coconut palms. A highlight is the famous Luquillo food kiosks where vendors sell traditional Puerto Rican fritters like alcapurrias and locally-caught seafood.
Luquillo Beach is a Blue Flag Beach, which means it's held to the highest standards for cleanliness and safety.
